The Table

The Table is an important ministry at Saint Augustine’s Church. It is a meal programs which serves sixty to one hundred people on the last two nights of the month. Three members of the parish coordinate fund raising, purchasing and volunteers. Parishioners assist by working with volunteers each month.

The Northwoods United Way is among the many supporters of The Table.

The Rhinelander Area Food Pantry

Saint Augustine’s raises money each year for the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry and the parish helps staff the food distribution on the third Saturday of the month from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM.

Habitat for Humanity

Saint Augustine’s has raised funds for Habitat for Humanity and parishioners have worked on building two of the Habitat Houses.

Northwoods Alliance for Temporary Housing

The Northwoods Alliance for Temporary Housing is a developing ministry in the Rhinelander area. Saint Augustine's members have participated in this development by serving or chairing on a number of committees and by contributing funds for start up costs and for Need It Now which raises funds for agencies which provide very short term shelter.
